Privacy Policy
Last updated 25 October 2026
GreetMantra lets you turn a template into a digital invitation or festival wish and share it with a link. This policy explains what information we handle to do that, and what we do with it.
What we collect
When you sign in with Google
We ask Google for your name, email address, profile photo and a unique Google account identifier. That is all: we request only the openid, email and profile scopes, and we never see your Google password or access your Gmail, Drive, contacts or any other Google data.
What you put into an invitation
Names, dates, venues and addresses, family members, contact names and phone numbers, your story, messages and any photos you upload. Please only enter information about other people (for example phone numbers of relatives) if they are happy for it to appear on your invitation.
What guests submit
If a guest replies to your invitation or posts a wish, we store what they type: name, phone number (optional), whether they are coming, number of guests and message.
Technical data
A sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in, and ordinary server logs (such as IP address and browser type) kept briefly for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
- To sign you in and keep your invitations tied to your account.
- To build, host and show your invitation page, and to let you see the replies it receives.
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
We do not sell your information, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.
Google user data
GreetMantra's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use your Google name, email and photo only to identify you inside GreetMantra and show them back to you. We do not share them with anyone else, except as described under "Who can see your information".
Who can see your information
- Anyone with your invitation link can see everything shown on the invitation page, including names, venue, photos and the contact numbers you add. Share the link only with people you want to see it.
- Only you can see the list of guest replies, your email and your account page.
- Service providers process data for us: Cloudflare (hosting, database and photo storage) and Google (sign-in, and web fonts loaded by this site). They may use it only to provide those services.
- We may disclose information if the law requires it.
Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in (and a short-lived one during the Google sign-in step). We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. Invitation pages are opened by guests without an account and set no cookies of their own.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and invitations until you ask us to delete them. Sign-in sessions expire after 30 days. To delete your account, invitations, photos and the replies they received, contact the contact address of the GreetMantra operator, and we will do so within a reasonable time.
Security
Sessions use random tokens stored in a protected cookie, and only a hash of each token is kept on our servers. Data is transmitted over HTTPS. No online service is perfectly secure, so please do not put sensitive information such as government IDs or bank details on an invitation.
Children
GreetMantra is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell signed-in users when the change is significant.
Contact
